Story line
It’s Independence Day in Lebanon: three women who’ve never met before are on the same bus heading to visit a prison situated in a remote area of the country. Traveling through an arid landscape littered with mines and decapitated dreams, the journey transforms into the women’s quest for their own independence.

openDirector's biography
openDima El-Horr earned an MFA in Filmmaking from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and currently teaches cinema at the Lebanese American University in Lebanon. She has directed three short films, which have been presented in numerous festivals including Clermont-Ferrand, San Francisco, Ann Arbor, Hong Kong and Brest. Every Day is a Holiday is her first full-length feature.
