The Magic Lantern
The Metropolis Association in partnership with the Swiss Magic Lantern announces the second edition of the cine club The Magic Lantern starting October 2011. This club enables children between 8 and 12 years old to discover the joys of the big screen.
Over a period of 9 months, October 2011 to June 2012, children subscribed to The Magic Lantern club are invited to the cinema once a month to experience different sensations through films that will make them laugh, dream, and maybe sometimes scared. A week before each screening, members of the club will receive an illustrated journal introducing them to the film in Arabic, English and French. In each session two animators will welcome them and present a show related to the movie in three languages .
