Synopsis

Hélène, a young widow, lives in Boulogne-sur-Mer with her stepson, Bernard who has just returned from the Algerian war. She invites her old flame Alphonse to spend some days. Alphonse arrives with 20 year-old Francoise, ostensibly his niece. But cohabitation between the four of them won’t be an easy thing especially when the past becomes part of their daily life.
