Cinema Mondial Tour

The Metropolis Association in partnership with Naas (Network of Arab arthouse screens) is proud to present for the first time in Lebanon the third edition of the Cinema Mondial Tour event that will take place at Metropolis Empire Sofil from the 14th to the 20th of February 2013.

The Cinema Mondial Tour is a programme initiated by the Hubert Bals Fund (HBF) and the IDFA Fund. Its aim is to support the realization of film projects from developing countries and screen the completed films in the Netherlands.

This programme started in Central and Southern Africa in 2010. It is now coming to the Arab region in its third edition thanks to the collaboration with NAAS, the network of independent art-house cinemas and cultural institutions located in Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Morocco, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, Sudan and Tunisia and united by the common goal to develop cinema culture across the Arab world.

Exclusively in the programme 4 feature films and 3 documentaries from Chile, Iran, China, Serbia, Irak, Syria and South Africa that give us a new vision of the world today.
