Metropolis Youth Film Fest | 19-22 April 2018

The Metropolis Association, in partnership with the Embassy of Denmark in Lebanon, has the pleasure to present the third edition of the Metropolis Youth Film Festival – MY Film Fest – that will be held between 19 and 22 April 2018 at the Metropolis Empire Sofil Cinema, in Ashrafieh. This festival is organized within the framework of the Danish-Lebanese film initiative “Mahattat – Cinema on the road”, which is running for the third year in a row.

Metropolis Youth Film Festival 2018 will open on Thursday 19 April with the feature animation film “Ivan Tsarévitch et la princesse changeante” in the presence of renowned director Michel Ocelot (“Azur et Asmar”, “Kirikou”). This screening is in collaboration with Institut français du Liban.

The festival’s film selection, which suits all age categories starting 2 years old until 18 years old and above, will include 4 programmes of short films suitable for youngsters (most of the films are with no dialogue or dubbed to French).

Running in parallel to the film screenings, two workshops will be organized at IESAV:
