Synopsis
Suleiman bounds through more than half a century of hard times for Palestinians, from the occupation of Palestine in 1948 to the recent present.
Director
Elia Suleiman won the Best First Film Prize at the 1996 Venice Film Festival for his film Chronicle of a Disappearance. In 2002, Suleiman's second feature film, Divine Intervention, subtitled, A Chronicle of Love and Pain, won the Jury Prize at the 2002 Cannes Film Festival. He is teaching at the Birzeit University in Ramallah since 1994.
