Amelie is a headstrong teenager with a foul mouth. After a life-threatening asthma attack, she is sent to a special clinic in South Tyrol. Before long, she runs away into the mountains where she bumps into 15-year-old Bart, who becomes her travelling companion. Together, they try to reach the peak of a mountain where, according to an old custom, she can be healed.

Amelie est une adolescente têtue et grossière. Après avoir souffert d’une crise d’asthme qui a menacé sa vie, Amelie est envoyée dans un hôpital spécialisé dans le Tyrol du Sud. Peu après, elle s’enfuit dans les montagnes où elle croise Bart, un garçon de 15 ans, qui devient son compagnon de voyage. Ensemble, ils tentent d’atteindre le sommet d’une montagne connu, selon une vieille tradition, pour ses capacités de guérir.

"أميلي" مراهقة قوية الشخصية لسانها سليط. بعد تعرّضها لنوبة ربو كادت تودي بحياتها، تمّ إرسالها إلى عيادة خاصة في جنوب تيرول. لكن بالكاد يمرّ على دخول "أميلي" العيادة حتّى تقرّر الهروب إلى الجبال، وتصادف ابن الخامسة عشرة "بارت" الذي يصبح رفيقها في السفر. ويحاولان معاً أن يبلغا قمّة الجبل الذي يمكّنها من الشفاء، بحسب ما ترويه العادات القديمة.
