Spain, summer 1993. Following the death of her parents, six years old Frida faces the first summer with her new adoptive family in the Catalan province. Before the season is over, the girl has to learn to cope with her emotions and her parents have to learn to love her as their own daughter.

Suite à la mort de ses parents, Frida, 6 ans, quitte Barcelone et part vivre à la campagne chez son oncle et sa tante et leur petite fille de 3 ans. Le temps d'un été, l'été 93, Frida apprendra à accepter son chagrin, et ses parents adoptifs apprendront à l'aimer comme leur propre fille.

إسبانيا، صيف 1993. بعد وفاة والدَي "فريدا"، تمضي ابنة الستّ سنوات فصل الصيف الأوّل لها مع عائلتها الجديدة بالتبني في منطقة كتالونيا. لكن قبل نهاية الفصل، يجدر بالفتاة أن تتعلّم التعامل مع مشاعرها وينبغي بوالدَيها تعلّم أن يحبّاها كما لو أنّها ابنتهما من لحمهما ودمهما.
