Theres and Kenneth are both young when they first meet whilst on holiday. They fall in love but are unable to prevent themselves from losing each other. Thirty years later, in another country, another couple: Ariane leaves her husband David because she no longer loves him. The paths they both take lead them to Kenneth and Theres.

Theres et Kenneth étaient encore jeunes quand ils se rencontrent pour la première fois pendant les vacances. Ils tombent amoureux l’un de l’autre mais étaient incapable de sauver cet amour et perdent donc un avenir ensemble. Trente ans après, dans un autre pays, un autre couple : Ariane quitte son mari David parce qu’elle ne l’aime plus. Leur chemin les mène à Kenneth et Theres.  

كان "تيريز" و"كينيث" شابَّين عندما التقيا لأوّل مرة خلال إحدى العطل، فوقعا في الحبّ لكنّهما عجزا عن تفادي خسارتهما لأحدهما الآخر. وبعد ثلاثين عاماً، في بلد آخر، ثنائي آخر: تترك "أريان" زوجها "ديفيد" لأنّها لم تعد تكنّ له مشاعر الحبّ، فتؤدّي بهما الطريق إلى "كينيث" و"تيريز".
