"Maybe this place doesn’t exist. Maybe this place exists in an imaginary film that can never seem to come to an end. In the beginning, there is the death of a memory," writes the filmmaker about her film.

This film takes place in Ainata in the south of Lebanon. Through a mosaic of images and voices, the film tries to map the stories of its inhabitants, unfolding into multiple territories. Archives and landscapes of the present intertwine to build a film that springs from a single detail: the gaze of a young woman.

"Peut-être que ce lieu n'existe pas. Peut-être qu'il existe dans un film imaginaire qui ne saurait se terminer. Au commencement, il y a la mort du souvenir", écrit la réalisatrice à propos de son film.

Ce film se déroule à Aïnata au sud du Liban. Par des éclats d'images et de voix, le film tente de cartographier les récits de ses habitants, se déployant en de multiples territoires. Archives et paysages du présent s’entremêlent pour construire un film qui prend forme à partir d’un détail : le regard d'une jeune femme.

"ربما هذا المكان غير موجود. ربما هذا مكان في فيلم خيالي لا يبدو أنه قد وصل إلى نهايته. في البداية، هناك وفاة للذاكرة" ، كتبت المخرجة عن فيلمها.

تقع أحداث هذا الفيلم في عيناتا في جنوب لبنان. من خلال مجموعة من الصور والأصوات، يحاول الفيلم رسم خارطة قصص سكان هذا المكان، والتي تنكشف في تعدّديّة المساحات التي ترسمها. تتشابك صور الأرشيف ومشاهد الحاضر في فيلم ينبع من تفصيل واحد: نظرة امرأة شابة.
