The story of refugees from Palestine, Congo and Colombia, recently arrived in Brazil, who, together with a group of low-income Brazilian workers, occupy an old abandoned building in downtown São Paulo. Daily dramas, comical situations and different views on the world mingle in this modern-day Tower of Babel. In the epic trajectory of its inhabitants, the threat of eviction – which may cast them out onto the streets at any moment – hovers overhead with ever-increasing tension in which encounters, hopes and conflicts occur.
