“We should start with a correspondence. Ebrahim can send me a letter this Friday, and I’ll answer him next Friday. So, see you Friday, Robinson!” And so, Jean-Luc Godard stages himself in his daily thought, wisely desperate, and sends images and words. Ebrahim Golestan tries to decode these UFO messages and skilfully seeks to bring them back to the appearance of reason. Does the existence of poets still have any meaning in these times of distress?

« Commençons par une correspondance. Ebrahim peut m’envoyer un message ce vendredi et je lui répondrai vendredi prochain. Et donc, à vendredi, Robinson !» Sagement désespéré, Jean-Luc Godard envoie des images et des mots, mettant en scène son quotidien de pensée. Ebrahim Golestan essaie de décoder ces messages-OVNIS et tente de leur redonner l’apparence de la raison. L’existence des poètes a-t-elle encore un sens en temps de détresse ?

يحكي فيلم "أراك يوم الجمعة يا روبنسون" عن مراسلات بين جان لوك غودار وإبراهيم غلستان. "يمكن لإبراهيم أن يوجّه لي رسالة الجمعة ثم أجيب في الجمعة التي تليها".. هكذا يشغل غودار أفكاره اليومية بالصور والكلمات التي يرسلها، بينما يحاول إبراهيم فكّ غموض الرموز في هذه الرسائل والعثور على المنطق فيها بمهارة. فهل لوجود الشعراء ما زال له معنى في أوقات الشدة؟
